HUMNE — Mode 001
Tea for the Creative Mind.
Four intentional blends designed for moments of focus, reflection, and creativity.
I — Philosophy
Not every moment should move faster.
In a world obsessed with speed, HUMNE was created to make slowing down intentional.
Tea is not the product.
Presence is.
II — Mode 001
Four artifacts. One intention.
III — The Ritual
Four movements, repeated daily.
Boil water.
Fresh, filtered, brought fully to temperature and then left to settle.
Steep intentionally.
Set nothing else in motion. Watch the colour arrive.
Slow the mind.
The first cup is not for drinking. It is for arriving.
Create.
Begin before you feel ready. The work will meet you.
IV — Pair it your way
Same tea.
Different mode.
Some HUMNE blends are designed to transform with milk. A splash can soften the edges, deepen the body, and create an entirely different cup.
IV — In Practice
Made for the people who make things.
Producers. Architects. Photographers. Designers. Studios where the lights stay low and the work stays long.

A signal from the studio
Mode 002
is forming.
The first chapter was poured in tea. The next is being shaped in something darker — four kinds, one ritual, a different heat. We won't say more yet. But the room is already warm.
V — About HUMNE
Creativity isn't forced. It arrives when the mind slows.
HUMNE was built on the belief that the best work is not extracted — it is allowed. Every blend is crafted to become part of a ritual rather than simply another beverage.
We source organically, blend in small batches, and design each object to sit quietly on the desk of someone in the middle of something.
VI — The Founder
Before HUMNE was a tea company, it was a feeling.

Riyad Hasaan is a Philadelphia-born, Los Angeles-based music producer, artist, and creative whose career has been built around one thing: creating a mood people can feel.
From producing records and collaborating with established artists to working across genres and cultures, Riyad learned early that the best music isn't always the loudest. Sometimes it's the space between the notes—the pause, the atmosphere, the moment before you press play.
That same philosophy became the foundation of HUMNE.
After leaving Philly and making his way to Los Angeles, Riyad found himself surrounded by an entirely different rhythm. Bigger rooms. Longer nights. Studio sessions. Flights. Ideas moving faster than the mind could process them. Music had always given him a way to slow everything down and enter a different headspace.
Tea began doing the same.
But traditional tea culture never quite felt like his culture. So instead of trying to fit into it, he decided to remix it.
HUMNE is that remix.
Built at the intersection of music, design, culture, and ritual, HUMNE approaches tea the way a producer approaches a record. Every ingredient has a purpose. Every blend has a tone. Every Mode is designed to put you somewhere.
Some records are made for the club. Some are made for the drive home. Some are made for 2:00 a.m. when the rest of the world gets quiet. Tea should work the same way.
That's why HUMNE doesn't simply make flavors—we create Modes.
From Press Play to 808 Flow, Nocturne, and Dim the Lights, Riyad brought the language of the studio into the ritual of tea. The names, blends, packaging, and experience all follow the same principle he's carried throughout his career:
Set the tone first. Everything else follows.
HUMNE is an extension of a life spent producing moments—only this time, the instrument isn't a sampler, keyboard, or studio. It's a cup.
